Will Google Android and Chrome OS will become one?

Last week, Google announced own desktop operating system, Chrome OS, to  media. They set it will release on 2010 Fall.





As the video shown, Chrome OS owned Google software common characteristics:

~Chrome Browser like UI design 

We can imagine that is just port Chrome browser to very light weighted Linux platform.
It relies on online services but seamless because you need online on startup. You cannot use it offline in this stage.
On press con, Google claims such OS will pre-install in his authorized machine especially on netbook.
I think that they want to remove unnecessary drivers. Moreover Google won't want follow the wrong way in Android. I.e., 3rd party manufactures adapt Android to any platforms, like their MID, TV, set-top box.
Chromium OS is a open source project for Chrome OS.

1. Android for 2.8-4.0 inch screen(famous on multi touch) mobile phone.
2. Chrome OS for 8.9-12 inch netbook form factor.
They avail port on ARM & x86 CPU
In further ARM CPU will upgrade to 1GHz (Snapdragon)
Netbook will upgrade to Dual Core and integrate with GPU
Android platform device mostly provide multitouch screen
Chrome OS use keyboard and mouse currently.
